Pontus Alv, Polar president and Five Flavors alum, wasn’t satisfied riding big name brand skateboarding footwear that has lost it’s way at the hands of corporate bottom-liners. He wanted a quality vulcanized skate shoe that could be affordable, support fair labor practices, and be truly by and for skateboarders. With great care in team selection and an eye towards simple, clean design, Last Resort fulfills Pontus vision and then some.
The VM001 is a clean low top sneaker that is made to skate. The higher midsole design will keep you protected on those big ollies, and the simple design will keep you insulated for trend following sneakerhead posers.
